you're a hot mess and i'm falling for you/i'm like hot damn let me make you my boo

“Viv, I knowwww you’re there! Pick up the damn phone!” Vivienne Karina heard her little sister’s voice shouting through the answering machine of her apartment. Lexy could be so annoying sometimes, but now that her career as a pop star had taken off, Vivi had to talk to her sister when she got the chance.

*dies*

Now that NaNo is over, it's time to start this shit up!

Keep your eye on this space. The awesomeness is coming!

Allow myself to introduce... myself.

The Blue is based on a role playing game I was a participant in nearly a year ago. The concept was new and different, and many of the plots and characters involved have stayed embedded in my brain, and just won't shut up. This is me trying to hush those attention whores up.

When NaNo is over, I've been thinking of doing something similar to Miss Jilly with her website (Seen here: http://jfjenkins.pbworks.com/), with The Blue, and put up a story once or twice a month. Vivi's getting restless and is being very active, so I figured I center the stories around her. I promised her a contract for 11 months, with November off. I figured I'd do something like Virtual Gilmores, but nothing is set in stone just yet.

We will see how this goes! I don't really need another writing project right now, but it promises to be quite fun. I miss writing Vivi.

Also, as a heads up, sometimes the stories have mature themes, such as boobies and willies, so if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff, don't say I didn't warn you.

Premise

A disease of the mind/It can control you

Technology has taken a few big leaps in the genetic field. One nation, Lux, has discovered a way to predict an individual's talents before they're even born. The government of Lux has each citizen categorized and controlled based on these talents. Marriages are arranged, reproduction carefully monitored, and jobs are chosen by this system. Hope lies within an underground revolution headed by some of the country's elite. They're called The Blue.

Vivienne Karina: actress/politician

Vivienne is an intelligent actress who has been trained in diplomacy since birth. She has a preference for funny movies, to try and escape the pressures of her political career. Because of that, she travels a lot, under strict supervision of course, on goodwill and charity missions and the like. Vivi suspects something is wrong with the system, but can't quite figure out what is wrong. Every time she tries to research or gets ahead in her search, she hits a dead end. Therefore, those in charge know what she's trying to accomplish, and are keeping an eye on her activities. Her 'assistant' is actually a government appointed supervisor who makes sure the wrong information doesn't get into Vivi's hands.

Personality-wise, she's a bit of a workaholic, always throwing herself into whatever project she's involved in at the moment. She claims she never has time for a serious relationship, though she makes plenty of time for secret flings to relieve the stress of being a celebrity.
